Glass House on the Ridge

Designed by an internationally recognised architect and the recipient of multiple design awards, Glass House on the Ridge is a work of architectural significance that functions equally well as an extraordinary family home. The concept is simple and radical in equal measure: a long, single-storey pavilion of glass and steel set perpendicular to the hillside contour. The structure seems to float above the landscape, its glazed walls reflecting sky and mountain in equal measure throughout the day. Inside, the principal living volume spans 2,400 square feet in a single, undivided space that responds to orientation, light, and view. The kitchen — a composition of dark stone and professional steel — transitions naturally to a dining area and, beyond, to a living zone. Sliding walls of glass open the entire south elevation to a stone terrace and the infinity pool beyond. Three bedroom suites are positioned at the quiet western end of the house. Each is a study in calm and restraint — generous proportions, exceptional natural light, and bathrooms finished in the same stone that runs throughout.
